I keep this on hand even when I am not nursing. It is soothing for many mothers but I find that a little milk after the nursing session on my nipples and some air drying works just as well and is more convenient. I use the Lansinoh Lanolin for diaper rash cream, dry baby skin, dry Mommy skin (hands, feet, elbows) and dry lips for everyone! |

I am so glad I had this when my son and I were first learning how to nurse. I kept 2 tubes- one for the bag and one by my bed. After we were nursing perfectly I thought I didn't need it any more. Wrong! Later on when he'd have giant nursing sessions due to teething or growth I wished I'd kept my tubes! Make sure you and anyone else you know that is nursing has some of this. |

I tried other brands of lanolin after having my first daughter, but Lansinoh seemed to work the best. It was much thicker than most, and so it stayed on MUCH better. It helped me a lot. I will say that it can be more difficult to squeeze out of the tube and it is definitely harder to wash off of your hands, but I will take that since it helped my boobs so much! |
